đź“‘ How to save templates in your notes
Having pre-set templates for things you commonly do in your notes is one of the best ways to save time and effort in your note-taking.
Many things we do in our notes are often repeated.
You might have a list of habits you try to complete each day, a reflection you do each morning, or even simple packing lists you re-use. All of these are great use cases for saving templates in your notes.
This email will show you how to do just that, and lists out some additional use-cases at the bottom.
1. Design your template in a note
First, write whatever you want to repeat in a dedicated note. As an example, let’s pretend it’s a stretching routine.

2. Save as a template
Copy the content of the sample note you’ve created, except for the title.
Then, go into your preferences and click on the Templates tab. Add a new template, and paste the note contents in the empty box. Give the new template a title as well. You will use this title to call on it, so make sure it’s something you’ll easily remember.
You can paste any markdown formatting, tasks and nested bullets into template boxes as well. The nested bullets are particularly handy, as it will allow you to collapse lists once they are added to a note.

3. Call on the template using the / command
Whenever you are ready to call on your new template, pull up the command menu using the slash, followed by the template name.
In the example above, I can start typing /stretching_routine, and then click on that template to add it to the note. You can do this within any note in Reflect.
